At Saafea Tech Hub, we are on a mission to bridge the digital divide in Northern Ghana by providing free and accessible technology education to underserved communities. Since our inception, we have empowered over 1,652 individuals with essential digital skills, including computer literacy, programming, web development, and graphic design.

We have trained over 1,552 individuals, equipping them with digital skills that open doors to education, employment, and entrepreneurship. Hundreds of young girls and women, including kayayei (female head porters), have been introduced to technology, showing them new pathways beyond their current circumstances. Our teacher training programs are transforming classrooms by helping educators integrate digital skills into their lessons, while our community-based workshops ensure people across Northern Ghana gain the knowledge needed to thrive in the modern world.

While we’ve made remarkable progress, access to computers and training facilities remains our biggest challenge. We are raising funds to establish a fully-equipped physical tech hub—the first of its kind in Northern Ghana. This hub will provide a permanent space where students, teachers, and aspiring entrepreneurs can learn and practice essential digital skills. Over the next five years, we aim to train 80,000 individuals, ensuring that no one is left behind in the digital revolution.

In addition to the physical hub, we plan to take technology education beyond city centers and into rural communities through mobile tech labs. By bringing computers and training sessions directly to underserved areas, we can ensure that geography is no longer a barrier to learning.
